The second Anatolian Conference on Synthetic Organic Chemistry (ACSOC- II) March 21-24, 2016 Kuşadası
The second Anatolian Conference on Synthetic Organic Chemistry (ACSOC) will be held on March 21-24, 2016 in conjunction with the Turkish Chemists Society. The conference follows the highly successful inaugural conference in Antalya last March 2015 focusing primarily on synthetic organic chemistry, new synthetic methodology, catalysis, organometalic chemistry, stereochemistry, and heterocyclic chemistry; in short the international conference explores the most recent advances shaping the frontiers of organic chemistry.
The conference will be held at the Pine Bay Holiday Resort, a five-star resort hotel in Kuşadası, Aydın, Turkey. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 250 attendees to facilitate informal interactions with colleagues in a relaxed setting.
The Pine Bay Holiday Resort is located in a picturesque area of Kuşadası, just 15 min from the city center and 45 min from İzmir Adnan Menderes International Airport. The area surrounding the conference venue boasts several world- heritage sites including several ancient cities and buildings recognized by UNESCO. Several nearby structures of ancient cities and temples date back to the time of the ancient Greeks. Readily accessible is the ancient city of Ephesus, a UNESCO world heritage site, the Temple of Apollo, the Temple of Artemis – one of the seven wonders of the world, the city of Miletus, the cave of Zeus, and the city of Aphrodisias just to name a few of the rich cultural attractions that Aydin has to offer.
